REVIEW ON REMOVAL OF COCCIDIOSIS AND E-COLI IN THE BIRD

INTRODUCTION

In modern times, poultry is gaining a lot in terms of business, not only in India but abroad also. But this positive sign has some negative aspects also the major problem is the problem of diseases. Eradication of poultry diseases is very important. The most common diseases in poultry are according to their severity and importance in village based small – scale production systems. Distinct feature, such as their characteristics during outbreaks and possible treatments as well as the time of occurrence are also of great significance.

Importance of diseases is judged by mortality rates and effect on production and will vary greatly from area to area and from season to season some less important diseases may interact with other diseases to create a more severe effect on the birds. This is the case for E- Coli infections, nutritional deficiencies and internal parasites as a result toxicity and loose dropping occurs such diseases rarely kill the individual bird, but have a remarkable effect on the immune system of the birds, thus creating the basis for easy infection by other diseases. Two very important diseases are discussed here to limit the paper.

  1. E-Coli Infection

Description :- it  is common among newly hatched chicks, causing infection in the stomach region.

Effect :- Stop of egg production, immune system weakening.

Symptom:- in older birds respiratory distress or infection in the egg organ with stop of egg production.

Prevention / Treatment:-  The best prevention is improved hygiene of eggs hatching and of the nests. Treatment of sick chicks with ADIMMONE.

  1. Toxicity and Loose Dropping

Description:- The disease may occur at any time at all ages.

Effect:- It Causes death in young chicks. If the chicks survive, they will remain thin and be late in laying.

Prevention / Treatment:-  Regular and careful cleaning of troughs and poultry houses addition of ADIMMONE, DILACOX & ANYTOX in drinking water.

Do not  and birds together avoid different age gaps of birds in the same house, as the disease may spread from adults to young chicks.

 

METHODOLOGY   

The present study, “A review in removal of coccidiosis and E-Coli in the bird” is an exploratory field study it aimed to explore the symptoms, effective prevention and treatment of coccidiosis and E-Coli in the bird interview schedule and observation method were considered most appropriate to get a clearer picture of the real situation. Problem of the diseases were observed carefully in 5000 flock. Data was collected by field survey approach. The study was conducted in several areas of  Gujarat, Maharashtra, M.P. and J&K.

The data was analyzed and tabulated for clear interpretation of results. Tables were made for clarity and easy communication of presented data.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

Table 3.1 shows that toxicity and loose dropping were reduced according to passage of time i.e. on first day of start of medicine, 3.2% mortality were there due to toxicity and loose dropping, it reduced upto 1.71% followed by 0.21% 0.02% and 0% on 3rd, 4th and 5th day of medicine. Thus it was proved that if the dosage is given according to prescription, loose dropping and toxicity may eradicate totally from the bird

TREATMENT

MOLPRO 200gm/ 5000 birds

                 OR

ADLIFAC 200 gm/ Ton of feed

ADIMMONE 2 ml/Ltr

DILACOX 2ml/Ltr

ANYTOX 2ml/Ltr

After treating the bird with the above said medicines, it not only gains weight but also reduces

stress, develops immunity

Table 3.2 shows that with the increase in time, egg production also increased. On 5th day of medicine the egg production was 74% of the total population, on 10th day it rose upto 76% followed by 79%, 82%, 84% on 15th,20th and 25th day thus, it was clear from the above discussion, that with the passage of time, egg production also increased due to medicines

 

TREATMENT

MOLPRO 200gm/ 5000 birds in first drinking water for 10 days and 2ml/ Ltr.

ANYTOX for 7 days and 2ml/Ltr

ADIMMONE for 25 days

Table 3.3 shows that a large amount of bird was dying daily due to toxicity and loose dropping. After the onset of treatment, on first day the mortality reduced to 49% then on 2nd day it was 22 on third day, it was 3 on 4th day and on fifth day the mortality totally eradicated from the bird.

ANYTOX 3ml/Ltr.

DILACOX 3ml/Ltr.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

Hence, from the above discussion it clear that the medicines are very effective and are totally organic herbal in nature which has no harmful or side effects in the bird’s internal functioning. It also helps in weight gain and reduces stress not only, but mortality also decreases and production in layer increases, develops immunity, reduces risk of side effects. Herbal medicines are very effective with chronic conditions for example ADIMMONE is a well-known prescription drug used to treat E-Coli. Alternative treatment for E-Coli like antibiotics on the other hand have few side effects. Another advantage to herbal medicine is cost. Herbs cost much less than prescription medications. Now a days research, testing, and marketing add a great advantage to the Herbal Medicines. These are good for more than one condition means one medicine can cure many diseases at the same time
